Registration

Kinections reviews and accepts applications throughout the year. Once a course is full, we create a waiting list. Send us a message if you want an application.
Registration typically closes three weeks before the start date, however, we do take late registrations. Kinections reserves the right to cancel classes for insufficient registration. Final decisions regarding the status of each class are usually made two weeks before the scheduled start date. It is important, therefore, not to wait until the last minute to register. Before you make flight arrangements, please contact the office to be sure enough people have registered for the course.
Please note:
- Registration for January courses closes December 15.
- Registration for March courses closes February 18.
- Registration for May courses closes May 15.
- Registration for July and August summer courses closes June 30.
- Registion for Fall courses closes September 15.
Once you have paid the fee in full, you will receive copies of the syllabus and an array of reading materials to help you prepare for the course.

Each course fee:
- includes copies of many articles and one transcript
- requires your paying a nonrefundable deposit that equals 50% of the total fee. The deposit holds your spot. Deposits not used may be applied to other courses. If a course is cancelled, the deposit is returned.
Final payment is due two weeks before the course begins, unless you have made special arrangements with the controller.
Costs are determined by the number of hours:
- 45 hour courses = $1050.00
- 30 hour courses = $700.00
- 24 hour courses = $560.00
- 20 hour courses = $467.00
- 15 hour courses = $350.00
The course cost includes most required articles. It does not include required text books or additional instructional materials such as posters.

Individuals who live outside the U.S.A. must pay additional fees for shipping and handling as required.
Payment must be made in US dollars by check or money order payable to Kinections or by credit card.

People have a number of options:

Executive Manor,an apartment building with fully furnished studio and one-bedroom apartments. Prices are about the same as the East Avenue Inn (see below), however, you do not have to pay hotel tax because Executive Manor is not a motel. The kitchenette is fully equipped. Executive Manor is two or three blocks closer to Kinections. It has become one of our students' favorite places to stay. It is at 28 N. Goodman Street. East Avenue Inn, a motel a little further from Kinections (five minute walking distance beyond the Strathallan). Students often share rooms here. The sooner you register, the better chance you have of finding a roommate. The rates are quite reasonable, and vary depending on the time of the year. If you come for an extended stay, a reduced fee may be available. Be sure to call the local number to receive the special rates for students studying at Kinections.
