Kinections 2006
Registration, Course Fees, Housing, Faculty
Registration
- Kinections reviews and accepts applications throughout the year. Once a course is full, we create a waiting list. Send us a message if you want an application.
- Registration typically closes three weeks before the start date, however, we do take late registrations. Kinections reserves the right to cancel classes for insufficient registration. Final decisions regarding the status of each class are usually made two weeks before the scheduled start date. It is important, therefore, not to wait until the last minute to register. Before you make flight arrangements, please contact the office to be sure enough people have registered for the course.
- Please note:
- Registration for January courses closes December 16, 2007.
- Registration for February courses closes January 14, 2008.
- Registration for March courses closes February 24, 2008.
- Registration for May courses closes April 21, 2008.
- Registration for 2008 summer courses closes June 30, 2008.
- Once you have paid the fee in full, you will receive copies of the syllabus and an array of reading materials to help you prepare for the course.

Housing
People have a number of options:
- Executive Manor, an apartment building with fully furnished studio and one bedroom apartments. Prices are about the same as the East Avenue Inn (see below), however, you do not have to pay hotel tax because Executive Manor is not a motel. The kitchenette is fully equipped. Executive Manor is two or three blocks closer to Kinections. It has become our students' favorite place to stay. It is at 28 N. Goodman Streeet. Contact Info: Tel: 585.244.6600 FAX: 585.244.7633
- RochesterApartment.com. Write to Deborah Tseng, Director of Business Development at deb@rochesterapartment.com.
- East Avenue Inn, a motel in walking distance from the studio. The sooner you register, the better chance you have of finding a roommate. The rates are quite reasonable, and vary depending on the time of the year. If you come for an extended stay, a reduced fee may be available. Be sure to call the local number to receive the special rates for students studying at Kinections. Contact Info: Tel: 585.325.5010
- You can board with locals if housing is available.
